It won’t be long and producers of Vermont’s delicious maple syrup products will be at work once again tapping their maple trees to collect sap. Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce always looks forward to celebrating the maple season with many activities held; this year during Maplefest 2019
Currently, the Chamber is taking sign-ups for the Big Craft Fair which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 23rd at Poultney High School. Inside spaces are first
Already on the Maplefest 2019 schedule are the: Big Craft Fair; pancake breakfast; story hour at Poultney Public Library; horse and wagon rides; dinner at Young At Heart Senior Center; prince and princess art contest; tree tapping on the Green Mountain College lawn and crowning of the prince and princess; bag sale; and Sugar House Open House tours. Sugar houses are listed free of charge on the Map. The Chamber invites other businesses, organizations, churches, schools and civic groups to sponsor an event too.
