Septemberfest! Spaces Filling Up

SeptemberFest!  an Art, Craft, and Food Fair, is on tap for Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  The event,  sponsored by the Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce, is coming together nicely.

The event celebrates the beginning of fall, and final sign-ups are still coming in.  Artists and artisans, makers of quality handmade products or fine food are welcome; contact Trish Peschl at tpeschl@keyserenergy.com, or call the Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce at 802-287-2010.

The Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the artists, artisans, and quality food producers that constitute an important part of the area’s economy.  The individuality and dedication of these people, driven to create, is what helps to make this part of Vermont so special.

You’ll meet the actual people who create the designs, and can talk with them about ideas, creations, and more.   Like Edna Blankley with her handmade blankets and Christmas items.  Lette’s Creations, specializing in crocheted toys, jewelry, and dragon sculpture.  Munch on the vegan baked goods provided by Inspired Cookies.

The Fair would not be complete without Jen’s Jewels, with homemade jewelry using natural stone, and wrought iron art.  Vermont Fire Rocks shines with candle-like lamps made from stone.  And spice up your life with Simply Garlic, producing garlic, salsa, hot sauce, and garlic stuffed olives among other creations.

So get ready for the fall event SeptemberFest!  an Art, Craft, and Food Fair, on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  on Main Street in downtown Poultney.  The Poultney Area Chamber will also be set up with information about the Poultney area, events and dates, maps and attractions, and souvenir Christmas ornaments.  We’ll see you there!
