Poultney Arts Day: Painting Main Street with Creativity

Poultney Arts Day 2024 will bring our local and regional arts organizations, schools, and community members together to demonstrate and share with the community the power of creative practice and ignite interorganizational collaboration. Happenings along Main Street include artists demonstrating blacksmithing, glassblowing, welding, woodworking, raku, mural exploration, and cooking. There will be artist demonstrations, a youth art show, hands-on activities and more, 9am-3pm on Main St, Poultney VT.

Artworks made by students will be displayed in various Main St. business windows and in the galleries of Stone Valley Arts, with a closing reception from 3pm-5pm, for this year’s PAD Youth Art Show, “Painting Main St. with Creativity.”

Poultney Arts Day is a free event for the community; culminating with a creative community block party with dance and music performances in Main St. 5-7:30pm, for Poultney Arts Day @dusk.

Community members are encouraged to walk or bike to Poultney Arts Day via the Rail Trail and Slate Valley Trails. Check out poultneyartsday.com for more details and info Or contact poultnetartsday@gmail.com to get involved, no vendor fees but bring your own table.
