Do you know someone who quietly makes Poultney a better place?
The Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Poultney Citizen of the Year. This award honors a Poultney resident who has shown outstanding, ongoing service to our community and truly embodies the spirit of volunteerism.
The recipient will be recognized at a community reception in October, receive a personalized slate clock, participate in the Maplefest Tree Tapping Ceremony, and serve as Grand Marshal in the next Fourth of July Parade.
Anyone can submit a nomination. Simply send the nominee’s name and a brief description of their continued service to the community, along with your name, address, and phone number.
A list of past recipients is available at here!
