SeptemberFest! an Art, Craft, and Food Fair, is on tap for Saturday after Labor Day, September 7, from 10 to 3 in beautiful historic Poultney. The event, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, celebrates the artists, artisans, and quality food producers that constitute an important part of the area’s economy. The individuality and dedication of these people, driven to create, is what helps to make this part of Vermont so special.
This year we have added live performances! The Poultney Bluegrass Society will be playing in the Slate Quarry Park and Peter Huntoon will be doing a live painting session by the town office. There will be a cider pressing demonstration, and a pop-up at Heyday Cafe, serving coffee and wood-fired pizza. Poultney Pub and Toad’s Burger Bar will be opening early and The Rail Trail Eatery will be open serving breakfast as well as lunch.
On this same day Dick Weis will be holding an opening at Stone Valley Arts and the ReclaimED makerspace will also be hosting an open house. So mark your calendar for Saturday, September 7th and come check out our fabulous vendors and celebrate the beginning of fall in Poultney!
