Nominations welcome from anyone in the area. They are solicited in August and are due in mid-September.

Send a letter describing why the person deserves the honor to the PACC address below. The Citizen of the Year is an unsung hero who has provided continuing service to Poultney and who goes above and beyond to make Poultney a better place. A ceremony and reception will be held in October and will be open to the public. The Chamber organizes the event, provides publicity, chooses a winner from the entries, and organizes the reception.
