Picket Fence Antiques is located at The Horace Greeley House just behind the 200-year old Baptist Church on the East Poultney Green. Owner Linda Knowlton will greet you with a friendly smile! You’ll have fun browsing through the outstanding collection of costume jewelry, tinware, depression glassware, postcards, trays, books, kitchenware, bottles, lamps, furniture…you name it! Picket Fence Antiques is a wonderful place to shop for gifts and home furnishings, too! You’ll find purses, coffee grinders, paintings, linens, comics, tins, teacups, glassware, porcelain plates and even more sparkling costume jewelry! Linda shares a lifetime of experience with her customers, as she had an antique shop in Lynnfield, Massachusetts before moving to the historic Horace Greeley House in East Poultney over 20 years ago. Her local interests have included Alumni Director and Trustee at Green Mountain College, Director of Lakes Region Youth Orchestra, and the Poultney Area Chamber of Commerce. She’s a co-founder of the Horace Greeley Foundation , and served as president of the Foundation and the Greeley Writers Guild. Linda is also active in town activities and is Justice of the Peace, Notary Public, and is on the Board of Civil Authority.
