About Williams True Value Hardware
Williams Hardware opened as an independent family-owned hardware store in 1946 under the ownership of Newman Williams. Current owner, and Newman’s son, bought the business in 1980. Now after several renovations and joining True Value, Bob has a successful and respected business. Williams Hardware also offers rental items, pipe threading, window and screen repair, UPS shipping, copying and faxing. Bob is a very active community member as a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, Trustee of the United Methodist Church, Past Poultney Citizen of the Year, and a strong supporter of all local organizations.
