Poultney is a quaint and picturesque town in rural Vermont with a population of about 3,500. As part of the Slate Valley, Poultney boasts a rich history surrounding the slate industry and its Welsh heritage. While dedicated to preserving our historic charm and values, Poultney embraces modern life. Poultney is also home to Lake St. Catherine State Park as well as many scenic trails.
